Move Your Body consists of mainstream teachers and a great range of crew members who all make MYB a fun, friendly and sociable dance school.

Teachers

Jason Sullivan - Director

Jason's natural flair for dancing developed in the 90s while attending jazz and funk classes in Brisbane. After moving to the Gold Coast he decided to develop his dancing repertoire and began to learn Modern Jive.

Shortly afterwards he began teaching with a fellow partner at a small dance company on the Gold Coast, where he developed his fantastic dancing and teaching ability. After teaching there for one year he decided to branch out and create his own dance company and in 2001 he launched Move Your Body. MYB has grown significantly since its inception and is now one of the most successful and popular dance schools on the Gold Coast. Jason is the mainstream beginner, intermediate and advanced teacher with his dance partner and fiance Leah.

Jason started competing in 2003 and has won an impressive range of trophies and titles. He is now a member of the judging panel at Australian wide Modern Jive Championships and is a regular guest teacher at dance camps across Australia.

Leah Mock

Leah has been dancing since 2005 and is an integral part of Move Your Body. Having never set foot in a dance class in her life, she was convinced that at 25 years old that she was too old to start dancing! After finally plucking up the courage to attend a Move Your Body class she instantly developed a passion for dancing and is now hooked.

Although Leah is fairly new to the dance scene she competed for the first time in 2006 where she achieved an impressive 5 first places. She is the regular intermediate/advanced instructor with her partner Jason.

Brad Slack

Brad has been dancing for five years and is Move Your Body's unique and very talented Intermediate teacher. He has an impressive array of moves, sensational style and is the master of intricate moves!

Tem Morgan

Tem has been dancing for three and a half years and is an important and very popular part of the Move Your Body crew. He is a superb social dancer and his helpful, friendly and approachable personality makes him our fantastic beginner-consolidation teacher.
